Just wanted to say, I noticed you released the Japanese version of the game, and I wanted to suggest also adding it to Novel Game Collection since it's the Japanese version of Itch.io. https://novelgame.jp I think you'd reach more of their audience there too.

Oh wow, tysm for telling me about this!

Honestly, I had no idea this site even existed it is so cool! I don’t actually speak Japanese myself this translation was very kindly provided by a translator friend. I was actually thinking of using this as an opportunity to learn more of the language <3

Your suggestion is awesome! I’ll ask my friend if they’d be willing to upload it and credit themselves as translator on that site (if they want to), since they’ve contributed so much to the translations already. As for me, I’ll just keep this version here as a personal backup.

It’s really kind of you to let me know this site ( guess ill have more game to play now !!!)

So glad I could help! I found the site one day by searching a lot for indie Japanese games since I like to play them. The site's easy to sign up with, I suggest using a browser plugin to translate it unless you use Microsoft Edge like I do which comes built with it.

You're one of my fav creators on this site so I jumped at seeing the email I got about the Japanese release. I really think you're underrated, and I'd love to see more people learn about your games.

If you need help with signing up, I do have this article which can help. I don't cover how to submit a game though, so I can't really help with that unfortunately. I don't use this account for my blog which is why the name is different.

Got that Itch for a Free Visual Novel Game? Look no further than Japan’s version of Itch.io – Otome Darlings

This is great! I really enjoyed Ember's story. I love the dark, melancholy vibes and the artwork is awesome. I really like the textured and layering effect you've used and the looseness of your line work. The character designs are great and I was pleased with my ending! Thanks for making :)

Could you please mark the downloadable build with the OSes it runs on? 🙏 (the checkboxes next to "Executable" on the edit game page, for a Ren'Py market build it should have Windows/Mac/Linux checked) Right now, trying to play it through the itch app will have it download the browser build instead.

The game looks really cool!

Thanks for letting me know! I updated the browser version last week and forgot to recheck all the boxes. Just updated the page – you can download it now!

Thank you! I just finished playing the game, I was really impressed by the atmosphere and the art! 🖤
